Experience Phuket, Thailand

Phuket, city and island, is located in southern Thailand. The island lies in the Andaman Sea, off the west coast of Thailand. Phuket is the largest island in Thailand.

Phuket city, located in the southeastern portion of the island, and is a major port and commercial centre.

Nature in Phuket

Phuket is mostly mountainous with a mountain range in the west of the island from the north to the south. The west coast has several sandy beaches. Forest, rubber, and palm oil plantations cover 60 percent of the island.

Bang Tao Beach – about 6 km from point to point and lined with large Casuarina Pines.
Freedom Beach – white sandy beach with tall coconut palms
Kata Noi Beach – inspired by Thailand’s rich and exotic heritage and showcases the charm and beauty of Thailand
Kata Beach – street vendors, bars, restaurants some night life entertainment including live music
Mai Khao Beach – about 20 km of white sand beach with crystal clear turquoise waters, full of colourful small fish
Banana Beach – perfect place to snorkel in the turquoise water
Kamala Beach – nice beach located on the west coast
Patong Beach – famous for its sports activities like paragliding and jet ski, its a major tourist attraction that lives up to its name
KUDO Beach Club – great location and amazing views

Green Elephant Sanctuary Park – amazing sanctuary with elephants which you can feed, watch them take mud baths and being wash
Monkey Hill – two idyllically located restaurants nestled amid the monkeys
Tiger Kingdom Phuket – great place to hang out with tigers
Soi Dog Foundation – provides medical care for animals all around Thailand


Karon Viewpoint – observe three beautiful beaches
Promthep Cape – the most beautiful sunset in all of Asia
Khao Rang Hill View Point – a long walk and a steep hill, but the view is spectacular
Windmill Viewpoint – hilltop features a contemporary windmill
