Diploma in Hospitality Practice

The Diploma in Hospitality Practice is a skills-based program.

A diploma level program designed to provide students with the essential skills for their first job in the hospitality & tourism sector.

The Hospitality Practice qualification can be studied as a diploma level qualification whereby learners are enrolled in all 8 units and allows learners to focus on a specific area of hospitality such as housekeeping or front office.


Certificate in English for Tourism & Hospitality

This certificate has been developed to provide students with a range of communication and study skills to prepare them for effective academic language skills and for working in the hospitality & tourism sector.

Entry Requirements

  • A minimum age of 18 at enrollment for International students.
  • All students without English as a first language must show competence in English at a level equal to IELTS 4.5 minimum.
  • BHLS can provide a set of placement tests where necessary to assess a student’s English level.

Career Opportunities

The Diploma in Hospitality Practice and Certificate in English for Tourism & Hospitality will enable students to apply for jobs in hospitality and tourism organisations as reception desk professional, waiter/waitress, housekeeping, concierge, bartender and many more.
